Children
Most of our students are under 18. We collect a child’s details only from, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian. We do not ask children for personal details through the website or the chat. We never publish a student’s name, photo, voice or work without a parent’s or guardian’s written consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Recordings
Lessons are recorded only where a parent, guardian or adult student has agreed. Recordings are used for quality assurance, are not shared outside Piedbells and are deleted after 30 days. If you say no, the lesson is not recorded, and lessons go ahead as normal.
How we use AI tools
Our tutors use AI tools to help prepare lesson plans and progress reports. A member of our team reviews every progress report before it is sent. Lesson recordings are used only for quality assurance. We do not use students’ information to advertise to them, and we do not sell it.
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us run the school, and only what each needs:
- Google (Meet, Classroom, Drive, email): lessons, coursework and records.
- Our website host and form tools: enquiries and registrations.
- Anthropic: the AI tools described above.
- WhatsApp (Meta): messages you send us there.
- Our bank: payments by bank transfer.
- An exam board, if you ask us to help with an exam entry.
These services may store data outside your country. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it

Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you or your child, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email info@piedbells.com and our Director will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live (in Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission).
Keeping it safe
Student information is kept in Piedbells’ own accounts, with access limited to the tutor and the staff who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
